Happy Holidays and remember to shop locally, shop green and give generously to those in need throughout our community and the world!

Welcome!

The Novato Democratic Club (NDC) is an official Club of the California Democratic Party. Established summer 2001, members are active in Club meetings and/or city and county Democratic activities.

Monthly Meetings
The Club meets the first Saturday of each month (the 2nd Saturday on holiday weekends), 9:30 to 11:00 a.m., usually at Double Rainbow at the Vintage Oaks Shopping Center.

Our meetings consist of sharing information and events, lively discussions, informative speakers and organizing/presenting local, state and national volunteer opportunities to support the Democratic Party and its values.

Regular meeting participants include Novato’s elected representatives from the Democratic Party of Marin (DCCM), Novato School Board, Novato City Council and Novato Water Board.

We invite you to check out the Club by coming to one of our meetings – we’re a friendly, informal group always pleased to meet fellow Novato Democrats.

Activities
One of the Novato Democratic Club’s primary functions is to provide information of local interest to the greater Novato community. Hosting candidates’ forums, endorsing candidates in most races, and providing an endorsement list of candidates and propositions are some of the ways the Club does this.

Some of the Club’s activities include voter registration drives, participation in the Novato Fourth of July parade, precinct walking and phone banking to help promote Democratic issues and candidates.

The Novato Democratic Club is the co-sponsor of the Awareness Novato Newsletter (an e-newsletter), a compilation of moderate/progressive events and voices from Novato/Marin.

Membership
Connecting with like-minded people is informative, inspiring and fun! Your Club involvement can be as much or as little as works for you. Membership costs $25 a year per individual/$35 per family (lowered/waived, if needed) and helps to support our local efforts.

The Club’s next meeting will be on Saturday January 5th from 9:30-11:00 am, at Chez Pierre’s on Redwood Blvd (for more info click on the Newsletter link). We hope to see you there!
